I’m Ferdinand Marzo. My journey began in Lipa City, Philippines, where I earned my nursing degree. In 2011, my family and I moved to Canada, where I dedicated myself to nursing, often working over 120 hours every two weeks. I explored various nursing roles, including travel nursing across Canada and the U.S., all while building a family.

Welcoming our daughter into the world was a profound moment for us, made possible through the incredible support of a whole village that embraced us during our surrogacy journey. This experience made me realize that I couldn’t continue a path that kept me away from home for long hours. I wanted to be present for my family, to cherish those moments that matter most.

A conversation with a colleague—now a dear friend and godmother to my daughter—introduced me to Greatway Insurance.
